Unbelievable Comeback: NASCAR Star Ryan Preece Returns After Terrifying Crash

After a really scary crash that sent him to the hospital, NASCAR’s No. 41 driver, Ryan Preece, could be excused if he decided to take a break and recover both physically and mentally. But he’s not planning to do that at all.

As per the NASCAR expert Bob Pockrass, Preece’s name is on the list to race in this weekend’s Southern 500 at Darlington. The report says he got out of the hospital yesterday and won’t need to go back for any more checkups. Also, the Stewart-Haas Racing team that Preece is a part of hasn’t hinted that they’re looking for someone else to take his place.

Sharing the news on X, Pockrass mentioned, “Ryan Preece is all set to drive the 41 this week. He left the hospital yesterday morning and just needs a follow-up with the doctor to get the green light. No signs of the team searching for a replacement.”

Fans were beyond happy to know that he’s getting back behind the wheel this weekend:

“I can’t believe it!! This is amazing news!! I was sure he got seriously hurt. This is just fantastic,” one fan replied.

“That’s almost like a miracle after that crazy crash. I can’t believe he doesn’t even have a concussion,” another fan wrote.

“Considering how tough Preece is, my bet is he’s going to race,” a third fan added.

Best of luck at Darlington, Ryan!
